The FC 26 Team of the Year (TOTY) is Ultimate Team’s biggest annual drop, turning the standout players of 2025 into the strongest items in the game. Voting has now closed and the results are in: the Men’s and Women’s TOTY XIs are live in Ultimate Team, with TOTY Icons also returning to packs.
TOTY Voting (How It Worked)
Voting for FC 26 TOTY ran from 6:00 PM GMT on January 7, 2026 until 5:59 PM GMT on January 12, 2026.
In-game, voting was done via Player Pick voting packs in the Store, across the four position groups:
Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders, and Attackers. You voted by selecting the players you believed most deserved a TOTY item.
EA confirmed the final Team of the Year selection is decided by a combination of EA and community votes.

With TOTY now active, the main content is the Men’s and Women’s TOTY XIs in packs, alongside a heavy cycle of
Daily Player SBCs, Daily Evolutions, Objectives, and Live Events. EA also confirmed TOTY Icons are back, and

TOTY Evolutions and Build Your TOTY Honourable Mentions
A free Evolution path is live via Evolutions: the Build your TOTY Honourable Mentions Evolution. EA also stated more TOTY Evolutions will release on Friday, January 23.
To help you complete the Evolution, EA granted 3 Evolution consumables that allow position changes, with these limits:
Max 86 OVR, Max 3 Positions, Max 90 Pace.

- CB to CDM
After your Evolution player qualifies, EA listed three “Builder” outcomes depending on position:
- TOTY HM CAM Builder: Finesse Shot PlayStyle+ and 5 Star Skill Moves
- TOTY HM CM Builder: Tiki Taka PlayStyle+ and 5 Star Weak Foot
- TOTY HM CDM Builder: Anticipate PlayStyle+ and 5 Star Weak Foot
EA also stated your TOTY HM Evolution player can later earn a second PlayStyle+ in a follow-up Evolution, with these options:
First Touch PlayStyle+, Long Ball Pass PlayStyle+, or Press Proven PlayStyle+ (choose 1).
