Future Stars is one of the flagship Ultimate Team promos in EA Sports FC 26, built around one simple idea: take the best young talent in football and boost them to a believable “future peak” version. These aren’t performance upgrades — they’re projection cards, designed to feel fast, sharp, and modern in-game.
In FC 26, Future Stars also comes with the Future Stars Academy. This year, all eligible players 21-and-under can enter the Academy, and every user receives the Future Stars Academy Contract Evolution plus a set of starter Player Items that qualify for the chain. EA also notes a second chance on February 6th to jump back into the Academy path if you missed it the first time.

How Future Stars Works
Future Stars items represent a projected peak version of a young player rather than their current ability. Boosts usually lean into what matters most in-game — pace, dribbling, composure, passing range, defensive recovery — so even lesser-known names can play “above their rating” if the stats land in the right places. The promo runs alongside a full content cycle (SBCs, Objectives, Live content, and the Academy Evolution chain), so you’re not forced to rely on pack luck to get involved.
