eFootball 2026 – Positions

eFootball 2026 Player Positions

Player positions in eFootball define each footballer’s role and responsibilities on the pitch. A team consists of one goalkeeper and ten outfield players who take up defensive, midfield, and attacking positions. The exact distribution of these roles depends on the formation and tactical setup chosen by the manager.

Other than the goalkeeper, there are around 16 key outfield positions in eFootball. These positions can dynamically shift during matches as your team transitions between defence, build-up, and attack phases. Selecting players in their natural or compatible positions is vital for achieving balance, fluid gameplay, and maximum team strength.
